Cringely Strikes Again
June 10th, 2005Wow… I always liked Bob Cringely and his writing. His articles on state-of-the art in technology are simply superb. But lately I haven’t been paying much attention to his writing because he talks about wireless routers and the Burst vs. Microsoft case, which is not very interesting to me. But the latest, on Apple going Intel, is one of his finest. You can find it here:

Or, maybe I think so because it validates what I’ve been suspecting for a while. Apple is making cool computers – PowerBooks are almost sensual. As I see it, for an average consumer, he can happily shift to Mac now. Why do I need to buy buggy windows when I can get a spiffy Mac OSX, virus-free, secure and more or less pretty stable.
